I am consistently humbled by the power of the breath in regulating our nervous system. Neuroscience is proving the relationship between the breath, emotions, and cognition and how attention to breath practice can alter our ability to control unwanted thoughts and react to situations. We have 20,000 a day. Why not pay attention to a couple? Try the most simple of breath work exercises - Box breathing.
